superbly priced support trek which went on up to Everest base-camp and over
the Cho La. We also added a second team arriving in Katmandu on the 3rd of
Nov. Stu Remensnyder led the October team which placed 11 team members on
top and Chris Szymiec led the smaller team which placed 3 or 4 on top. Our
stalwart high altitude sherpa Tsering topped out on both trips! We already

Our 4th trip in 5 years to this beautiful mountain was led by Jacob Schmitz and assisted by Chris Szymiec. The team placed 10 members on the summit during a season which saw very few other teams do so. The success les clearly in the team approach and how hard everyone worked to make it possible from a great leadership team, a very strong group of climbers, 2 dedicated High Altitude porters and superb BC services and tasty food!

Our team had a very demanding a challenging expedition and in the end though
no member was able to step foot on the summit a number of members reached
new high points and the experience gained by all members will serve them well
on future 8000m peaks. Led by Ryan Waters and assisted by Dave Elmore, Blair
Falahey and Grant Else, the trip was led in a safe manner during a season
which saw considerable avalanche activity and a tremendous anount of snowfall.
After record breaking summits in 2006, as of the end of our trip no one had
reached the top by the normal route this season. We'll hope for a return to
the good weather and route conditions in 2008!

This expedition was a great success with a number of summits of Broad Peak and a significant effort made on K2. You can find excellent additional dispatches at Alan Arnette's site and Wilco van Rooijen's site. This trip is was led by Ryan Waters, Jeff Justman and was organized in conjunction with Alan Arnette.

We had a team of 10 climbers and one trekker headed to Spantik in 2006 summer
and the strong team made a huge effort reaching just 50m from the top in challenging
conditions. While we were stopped a scant 50m from the top due to deteriorating
snow and weather, our members had their fill on a classic and remote expedition.
They were the only team at that time to reach so high on the hill thanks not
only to the great work of leader Sean James and his team of high altitude
porters but to the strong teamwork and high fitness of our team. We thank
Sean James for great leadership and congratulate the members on a superb trip
